The APEC Adaptive Foundation provides training systems, experiences, and overall support for kids, athletes, adults and veterans affected by, but not limited to: spina bifida, amputation, brain injury, military injury and poverty. Our purpose is to provide adaptive services free of charge to all participants.
All services the Adaptive Foundation provides will be free. These services require an application process in which we review applicants and accept a number of participants per program or event. In the short term we will offer free training at APEC in seasonal increments. Long term plans include off site trips and after school programs, along with other experiences to complement training services.
Currently we are focusing on three separate populations and initiatives:
Empower young members of our community with adaptive challenges. Providing assistance to those with adaptive challenges such as spina bifida, amputees, brain injury, etc. We seek to help them realize their value and abilities.
These adults are not different than any of us in that they strive to be the best version of themselves. Providing assistance to those with adaptive challenges such as spina bifida, amputees, brain injury, etc. We will instill the mindset of "BE THE BEST YOU."
Providing assistance to those with financial challenges that to be given tools for long term success. After school programs, mentorships, training, and more initiatives to give these kids the support needed to reach their potential on and off the field.
